Richard R. Leonard, Principal, joined BRS in 2001. Previously he was a Vice President in private equity at Audax Management Company. Mr. Leonard also worked in private equity with J.W. Childs Associates from 1997 to 1999, and was previously an associate with Dillon Read & Company. Mr. Leonard is a graduate of Harvard College.

Mr. Leonard is a director of Il Fornaio (America) Corporation, Eurofresh, Inc., Levtran Enterprises, Inc., and Logan’s Roadhouse, Inc.

Brett A. Pertuz, Principal, joined BRS in 2000. Previously, he worked as an Associate Consultant in Bain & Company's Boston office. Mr. Pertuz received his BS from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce and his MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Pertuz is a director of HealthPlus Corporation, Seroyal, Inc., The Marshall Retail Group, L.L.C., EZ Lube, L.L.C, and Things Remembered, Inc.

Nicholas R. Sheppard, Principal, joined BRS in 2000. Previously, Mr. Sheppard worked as a Consultant in the London and New York offices of Marakon Associates, a strategy consulting firm.  Mr. Sheppard received his BSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science and his MBA with distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Sheppard is a director of Airxcel Holdings, Inc., and Lazy Days’ RV Center, Inc.

Jacob A. Organek, Principal, joined BRS in 2003. Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking division of Lehman Brothers. Mr. Organek has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Organek is a director of The Marshall Retail Group, L.L.C.
